I have been detailing my vehicles for a little over a decade. I have used the basics from turtle wax and even tried out chemical guys for a while. I finally have settled on Plus Soap for my detailing needs. I am no professional and just an enthusiast who loves keeping my cars looking great. For about three years I have been using Plus Soap and I have no plans to switch from it. My normal process is to use a two-bucket method along with a foam cannon first. From there I dry off the vehicle. I then use Iron dissolve to remove any remaining contaminants. Then wash again as needed. Then I apply a sealant since sealants tend to last longer, then a layer of wax, and finish it off with the ceramic spray. This always gives a nice clean and shiny surface. I always wash wheels and tires separate due to the chemical needed for cleaning. Er with a brush to scrub if needed and rinse the chemicals off. Then I apply a layer of tire shine last.
Here is what I have used so far and will continue to use: Foam soap (auto shampoo), all purpose cleaner, carnauba wax, Ceramic spray, glass cleaner, Iron dissolve, renew tire and trim, waterless, wash, wheel cleaner, paint sealant, spray wax, and wash & wax.
All Chemicals work great but, I have to mention the ceramic spray is hands down my favorite by a long shot.
I will continue to use plus soap products and continue to recommend them to others.
I ran out of space for what I wanted list but, I can provide more info if asked.
